Since it's creation in 2002, Avalon has maintained a moderate to high level of activity between numerous members who have come, gone, and stayed. It is a free-form roleplay, originally created following Arthurian myth, but has since then progressed into its own being of a fantasy setting of its own, designed over the years by member input and creativity. As there is no enforced site plot, members are free to carry out their own established stories in a constantly expanding world or get involved with other member plot stories. Occasionally there will also be large scale events that members can jump into, and the member base is more than welcoming to new members and will eagerly assist them in getting a start here at Avalon. Utilizing an extremely fleshed out shop system, members begin their roleplay with nothing but the clothes on their back, and ICly work their way up through roleplay, gaining gold for each post that can be used to purchase various items, spells, weapons, armor, pets, and even whole armies for the more ambitious characters. With no requirement for admin approval on biographies, you are free to use Avalon's very own character template or simply construct your own from scratch, filling out the information at the same time as you begin your journey roleplaying - whatever is convenient for you! Avalon encourages new members to introduce themselves in the chat box as well as the welcomes board, and if there are any questions whatsoever please do not hesitate to inquire!
