Alrighty, dear members of BOM, I need your help! I honestly believe that me, and bree could use some help on the forum to get the word out about us, and to help make this place a spiffy site to rp on. BUT.... Bree does not think so. So I am calling forth you, the members, to unleash your voices, and help me convince Bree that we might need some help. So I need you to vote on the poll above, and then only post here if you'd be interested in becoming a mod well that is if we successfully convince Bree that we need some. Our mods would help advertise, provide review (an admin would stil need to step in for the final say), update claims, and moderate over threads to make sure people are not godmodding. PLEASE I NEED YOUR HEEEEEEELP!!!

Personally I believe every site should have a couple Mods at least for when the Admins may be away. It's always nice to have an extra hand or two to keep an eye on certain things. Plus it relieves some of the stress on the Admins so they don't have to run around the site checking everything and possibly forgetting to do something or make a mistake. Not to say any mistakes have been made I'm just saying Mods make things easier for everyone.

I myself have been a Mod for a couple Proboards sites here and there so I have some experience. Now I'm not insisting that you guys need Mods, however, If you guys decide that you may need a helping hand I'd be able to help you with a few things like:

• Grading Apps
  
• Advertising
  
• Missions
  
• Monitoring Threads
  
• Events

So in conclusion, I'm not saying you need any Mods right away but, I do believe it would be nice to have an extra hand for those times the Admins may not be around as much. Thank you for listening to my opinion and have an awesome day! or I'll find you

Like Mark said, it's good for a site to have a decent amount of mods to handle running the forum. I myself have never had any real experience with mod shtuff, but I've been on enough forums to see how it all works. That being said, I wouldn't mind handling the claims section (face claims, partners, etc.). I don't think I'll have a problem reading around the codes that are already in place, and I wouldn't mind keeping up with accepted apps in order to make sure everything is completed.

i never said that i was against mods, yo. last few times you've asked me, though, there weren't that many people on the forum, so either it felt a little bit unnecessary (because i figured we could handle them all) or impersonal (since i figured you'd be asking for help off of the forum due to the current lack of anyone but my friends to ask, so basically you'd just be bringing someone onto the forum just to mod it). call it habit, too, since i used to run some pretty crazy places with me and just two other people. while you're at it, call it a safeguard, since i tend to show up more when i know i have something i'm supposed to be doing (other than posts).

so yeah basically i'm good with it, either way. if you plan to add mods, make sure they've already been on the forum so they're familiar with how we work and everyone on here. leave me some things to do, too.

btw when are you going to get us those fancy codes? :P

I'm pretty much in the same boat as Drasi: I've never had any true moderator experience before, albeit from several very casual RPs that I created, but I've had quite a bit of roleplaying experience and I know all the works From experience with the RPs that I've created over the years, I'm quite skilled at reviewing applications and also monitoring threads for godmodding, which is a particular pet peeve of mine so I always have an eye out for it. So conclusively, I would also like the opportunity to be a mod. Another benefit that would come from making both Drasi and me mods would be that Drasi and I are best friends IRL, so we would have easy access to each other if we needed to collaborate on anything or needed assistance/opinions from each other.
