His hair is messy, shaggy and blood red just as hell spawned him. With fair pale skin to contrast with his dark hair his eyes echo a deep aquatic blue-green color while a slitted pupils part the ocean of his iris's. More often than not Axel will have his black and red furred wolf ears and tails poking out from his hair and clothing whilst his canines and nails are filed to sharp points. His physique though naturally strong is quite lean and small despite being able to become a werewolf. His childhood is normal for the most part though things seemed to break when he was around which quickly made others shun him and this had left him very lonely. As he became more and more closed off he spent his time wandering the forest around his family’s estate and one day on the edge of the forest he saw a black wolf limping across the tree line.   Axel instinctively went over to the hurt creature but as it heard him it braced itself with its haunches and tail raised and its fangs bared. The action frightened the young boy but he quietly moved down onto his stomach slowly crawling over to the wolf. The beast watched Axel crawl towards it and slowly relaxed still watching carefully, though as Axel came close enough to touch it he lifted his hand and it held it in the air watching the massive wolf. The large creature watched the boy before slowly sitting back and licking his hand. Axel smiled and gently stroked the wolf’s muzzle a she sat in front of it and noticed its front left paw was hovering just off the ground. Slowly Axel reached forward to touch its paw which was returned with a low growl though he stopped and moved slower gently checking its paw. A slim piece of metal, possibly from a broken trap, was stuck in the pad of its paw. Ever so gently and receiving a mixed whimper and growl, Axel pulled the sliver from its paw before tearing off the sleeve of his shirt into makeshift bandages and wrapping the paw.   Slowly the wolf touched the ground with its paw and through a wince was able to stand again, after walking in a circle to test its paw the wolf wagged its tail and licked Axel’s hand and face happily. The action seemed to make Axel the happiest he had ever been as he laughed and played with the wolf rolling along the ground with it.   However a sound resounding bang shocked the wolf making it jump back and a second bang sent the wolf running into the trees. Axel watched it confused before looking back to the sound of the noise, his father at the back door with a rifle. However the look on his face was a mix of horror and shock as his eyes rested on the black wolf tail that now rested at the base of Axel’s spine.   His father dragged Axel kicking and screaming by his new tail to his mother and threw him at her. It turned out that his mother had been a witch long ago but had long since stopped the practice but it seemed apparent that her blood lived on in her son. The father furious with his wife and abomination of a child had locked down the house and filled it with as much gunpowder, oil, and, kindling he could find and set fire to the house to eliminate any traces of the horrid life he had a part in.   As the building began to burn Axel started to cry ass he clung to his mother, she hastily swept through all of her old spell books and found a breaking spell which she had used to destroy the wall of the room and open a way out. As they got out of the house the mother noticed Axel had stopped crying and looked at him, the young boy was smiling and reaching behind her towards the forest. At the tree line a mangled corpse laid bare, the corpse of the father and husband that tried to murder his family, rested at the feet of a black wolf stained crimson with blood. The wolf’s eyes were locked with the boy and as it turned to run into the forest Axel tugged on his mother’s blouse to follow it.   Having been a witch she followed the wolf quickly recognizing the bond of a familiar and as the crimson light of dawn loomed over head the mother came to a large town bustling with people. Axel and his mother had settled in the town far from the town they had once been part of and once Axel became of age he took up his family’s tradition of crafting weapons as a blacksmith and shortly after noticing a talent with flames as well, seeing as how they were both on his mother’s side of the family, alongside his mother teaching him to use magic. However as the years went on and Axel grew into his teens his mother had grown far past that. In the Thirty years they had been in the town Axel had only grown comparative to 10 years while his mother had grown older and slowly she became ill with age.   As she laid dying she softly patted his long crimson hair and smiled telling him that she was proud of him for growing into a fine young man and witch, in the following week up until her passing Axel had stayed by her side, a loyal son to the end and in that week she told him of an ancient Coven that their family was said to have ties to. The Immortals, Axel listened and humored her stories as she spoke of them like mythical gods not quite believing the story though it could explain his growth rate. And as her last wish she had asked him to try and find the Coven and learn from them.   Faithful as ever after she passed he had sold the house they had lived in to pay for the funeral kept what was left to set out. Over the years he spent traveling he never noticed anything about him change aside that his hair kept growing. Finally as he headed to the western mountains of North America he kept seeing black shadows in the night. Since he had set out he had learned much more about the world than what his mother had taught him about witches and immortals. He knew of Kishins and demons that lurked in the world and as a black figure jumped in front of his path he conjured a ring of flame and was caught off guard as he saw a hulking black wolf standing in front of him. With a small smile he let the flames go out and stepped over stroking the wolf’s massive head which earned him a gracious lick from his childhood savior. The wolf then lead Axel to a small camp in the mountains away from mankind's civilizations. The Camp was the home of a single Immortal who recognized Axel as one of his own though his teaching has been very limited as of yet and currently he has taken a break from the magic 'pamphlets' as he calls the books he had been given and is now out traveling the world again to teach himself more and perfect his wavelength and magical abilities. Axel will make a blue flaming wolf burst forth in front of him leaping at the target.
