Keikoku is a beautiful young woman who has often been related to that of a porcelain doll for the pigment of her flesh; with skin as pale as the snow that falls on the ground during the winter it is not hard to see why one would think that. Still she is quite lovely with her soft features that blend into heart-shaped face and only a few of these little details truly stand out amongst her sickly pale flesh. Her eyes are stained a bloody crimson hue that appears unnaturally bright in some lighting and nobody has ever seen them dressed in anything but a dark lining. Her plush lips are dyed a sweet, light pink color that accentuates the coloring of her eyes quite nicely. Despite all of her lovely features though there is one that stands out amongst the rest: her hair. Since the time of her birth the strands have been painted an unnatural shade of blonde that is so pure it appears white and it is for this reason that she shall not be soon erased from anyone’s head. The luscious, relaxed ringlets are always soft and set free so that they can cascade down to her lower-back yet set to frame her face in the most beautiful of ways; her bangs fall to shade her eyes lightly as they swoop over her face before blending in with the rest of her pale locks. At one hundred and twenty pounds, she is extremely skinny and petite for a young woman who stands five foot seven with tapered waist and vaguely visible rib cage.

The clothing that Keikoku chooses to wear is not fancy in any sense and often times are described as beyond casual. A tight v-neck shirt or tank-top matched with a pair of skinny jeans or tapper skirt have always fit her tastes so she is rarely seen in anything else. Of course she will occasionally add variation to her attire, but those instances are far and few in between because she has neither the resources nor the ability to wear much else. The only thing that remains constant in the young woman’s outfit is her silver heart necklace that always hangs between her breasts; her father had given it to her mother before when they first started dating.

Keikoku is, in short, a highly unpredictable young woman simply because the person approaching her will never know what side to her they will encounter. Most of the time the petite young woman is quite vicious with her sardonic remarks and blunt comments that show her complete disregard for those around her. Nearly every word that slips past her pale lips has some sort of sarcastic or biting tone to it and as it turns out, most people find it to be quite intimidating. In her opinion there is no reason for her to coddle ignorant people who do not realize the world is a cold place, so sparing their emotions has always been out of the question. The only time of day that anybody can expect to approach Keikoku without receiving some sort of biting remark is when she is working at the local café; scaring customers away with a snide remark has never been regarded as good business in her mind. One can still expect to receive light glares from the young woman though along with a cold shoulder if they try to interrupt her while she is working, especially if do not know when to keep quiet.

With venom laced in nearly every word that leaves her lips, one might find it hard to believe that Keikoku can prove to be anything but heartless; however, sardonic remarks are not the only thing that this young woman is famous for. Much like the other females that dwell in this realm, she enjoys the art of flirtation and seduction when it comes to attractive creatures, but it is only on an occasion as rare as the Blood Moon that these actions prove to be genuine. To her there is no reason to waste actual emotions on someone who will simply cower in her presence and it is for that reason that she is only shown to be genuinely attracted to someone when they think her vicious tone otherwise. Showing fear to the blood thirsty creature has never proven a good idea, but proving strength has.

One must always keep in mind though that even the most vicious of demons have a heart locked away inside their chest; it simply takes the right person to draw out this side to the demon without being attacked along the way.

⋆ As strange as it may seem Keikoku has always had an affinity for items associated with black magic or death. It is for this reason that the young woman’s room is decorated with items ranging from deceased fauna to grimoires, though she cannot actually use them in any sort of act.
⋆ When nobody is around this female will spend hours on end simply singing to herself or dancing around her apartment.

⋆ Keikoku has a tendency favor isolation over all else. This odd habit of hers is often reflected in the fact that she will spend hours on end simply sitting with herself or wandering about the city in the middle of the night.
⋆ Whenever this young woman wanders about her mind she will subconsciously bite at her lip or tap her nails against her collar bone. Of course the small nips to her already pale mouth do little to harm her, but the insistent clatter of her fingers against her chest often leave scratches thanks to her partial weapon form.

★ S E C R E T S & F E A R S:

⋆ While choosing to walk the path of a Death Weapon was a choice that Keikoku made on her own accord, she cannot help but to wonder whether or not she made the right choice; however, she would never admit to the fact that this miniscule amount of regret still dwells within her breast.
⋆ As a Dark Weapon this young woman has come to accept the act of murder as a normal part of her life, but even a creature as demented as she has her limits. For Keikoku this limit manifests itself in the form of children for she refuses to steal away their souls no matter how desperate the situation.

⋆ The largest of Keikoku’s fear is not that of Death itself, but rather dying via drowning. As a child her caretaker often threatened to drown her in the bathtub if she did not behave and the actual act of being held down under the water as a form of expressing his power over her has left her scarred.
⋆ As strange as it may seem this young woman, though preferring to dwell in isolation, actually fears being left alone for all eternity. Every creature, no matter their preference for the light or the dark, needs someone to keep them company and Keikoku is fearful that she may never find someone to accept her for who she is.

★ A M B I T I O N S:

⋆ If one were to ask this crimson eyed female what it is that she desires most in this world her answer would to discover what ailment it was that ended her mother's life.
⋆ One of Keikoku’s more heartfelt ambitions is to simply be accepted by another creature. Living in complete isolation, while preferred by the female, is something which she fears she will be locked in for the rest of her life.
⋆ As petty as it may seem this young woman wishes to one day visit Paris, France during the spring when the flowers are in bloom. When she was a child her mother had always promised to take her to the location when she was old enough to truly appreciate its beauty and now that she is a adult she feels as though it is time to do what her mother never could.

It was a warm spring day in Death City when a beautiful young woman by the name of Kisa Takeda had agreed to go out to lunch with a fellow co-worker, a gentleman who was only a few years older than her at the time and on the road to success. For the past six months the woman had spent her free time day dreaming about this man, but she had never expected him to ever notice her let alone acknowledge her existence. He was always surrounded by gorgeous woman after all, so the prospects of him asking her on a date were slim to none. That was why she had been so shocked when he waltzed up to her desk and proposed the date later than evening, but sadly he was not asking her out because he was infatuated with her. The only reason he had even bothered with the woman was because he had been dared to do so by one of his friends and so he stood the poor girl up. Sitting alone in that Japanese restaurant for near three hours had been beyond embarrassing for Kisa of course, but alas she would not say that it was horrible for right before she left the horrid establishment an angel would come to her rescue. Shinu Ryoki had been watching the poor woman sit there in anticipation for near thirty minutes before he finally got enough courage to go up to her and have dinner with her. After that day the two were near inseparable.

The bond that was created between the two young adults was a remarkable one and the two quickly fell in love. Within three years of their first meeting the two would be married. By the end of their second anniversary the two would have their first child. The blessing of Keikoku Kisa Ryoki would cause a major change in the two young adults’ lives and to ensure her success changes would slowly begin to take place. Kisa would quit her job to raise her child and Shinu would take a take up a normal job in the city in addition to his word as a meister to support his ever growing family. No matter how hard either of them tried though neither of them could ever prevent the tragedies that were fated to overshadow their perfect lives. It was not even ten in the morning that cold winter morning when the young mother and wife would receive a phone call from one a young man by the name of Spirit Albarn alerting her to the fact that he had been murdered on their latest task.

It would not be wrong to say that every creature being has their secrets; Shinu just had a few too many. As it turned out the young man had a serious gambling problem as well as quite a few debts and in order to rid herself of worry, Kisa would sell everything she had. Without a penny to her name or a job to support her child the woman would be forced to move into a lower end apartment in Death City to raise Keikoku on her own. Being a single mother who lived in was not an easy fate to take on. Often times Kisa would only hold a job for six months at a time before being laid off and with no other family to assist her, the woman would eventually be forced to move her daughter out of the city. Transferring schools seemed to be routine for the young Keikoku and by the time she was ten her mother would begin to notice that her daughter preferred isolation to all else; it was a trait that worried her. In an effort to keep her daughter from complete reverting into herself Kisa would begin to encourage her daughter to take up dance since she had always showed favor towards the art. However, no matter how much dancing Keikoku ever did at her school it never helped her to gain very many friends since she simply preferred the company of her mother to all else.

For many years people have kept hope in their disastrous realities by claiming that time would heal all wounds. It was a saying created by an idealist, a saying kept alive by an optimist, and a saying that Keikoku saw right through for there are some things that even time could not erase; the young female had only been fourteen years old when she would discover just how much she wished that she could believe in those few words. Unbeknownst to her was the fact that Kisa Ryoki was slowly dying from a fatal and unidentifiable disease. The woman never stood a chance against the deadly ailment that late December night when her body began failing her for even though Keikoku was able to call an ambulance the moment she began to suffocate, she would wind up dead before reaching the hospital.

The death of her mother was something that Keikoku would never fully recover simply because she blamed herself for never noticing the signs of her slow deterioration; however, she could not dwell on the past forever, especially with the looming threat of being discarded into the foster system just outside her door step. She knew well that older teenagers were rarely adopted and even then she had no desire to become a part of a family that she barely knew. Sadly she would have no choice in the matter though since she was still so young.

Within three months of her mother’s death Keikoku found herself thrust into the home of an abusive caretaker and with an over whelmed foster care system, little could be done to help her. It was for this reason that the once vibrant child quickly transformed into an icy young adult. It was during this transition that Keikoku found herself growing more and more silent whenever her caretaker struck her, but after one particularly horrible beating Keikoku would snap.

The shock that was written across the young girl’s face upon seeing the blood drip from her now razor like nails was something which could have easily competed with that of the male’s, but instead of being overwhelmed with fear like she should have been Keikoku was strangely calm; her caretaker though was anything but. In movements too quick for the female to trace in her dumbfounded state she quickly found herself being viciously attacked in a manner which she would had never encountered and with no other choice besides death, she quickly fled from the house.

The discovery of her ability to transform her flesh from skin to metal was one which left Keikoku dazed for hours on end simply because she had never knows either of her parents to possess the same abilities. Of course it was not entirely implausible considering the fact that her father had apparently come from a long line of meisters and weapons, but she had never even thought that someone as insignificant as her would posses these abilities. This newly obtained knowledge was not something that Keikoku would not let go to waste for now she knew that she had a possible future awaiting her back in Death City. All she had to do was wait until her eighteenth birthday when she would be free from her caretaker’s grasp; until then though she would train in and advance her skills to the best of her abilities. It is a shame that her sanity could not hold that long though.

The once vibrant sky was painted a dark obsidian color that frigid winter’s night as sheets of rain poured down onto the little house which Keikoku had never referred to as her home. It was from this location that screams of pure hatred could be heard if one listened close enough, the crashing of bottles soon following as the sixteen year old girl’s head collided with the concrete wall and various alcoholic beverages came raining down around her. From above her the man known as her caretaker could be heard shouting about how useless and pathetic she was, but she never heard those words echo in her mind. Instead all she saw was the crimson color of blood as it dripped down from a wound on her head and several fresh cuts on her skin to the floor. With her vision clouded the young woman became an easy target for the male as he picked her up by her throat and smashed her head against the wall once more, a sickening smashing noise following as she gritted her teeth in agony. She refused to scream out in pain though, only keeping silent as he bludgeoned her skull in with painfully slow thrusts; it was after the seventh strike that Keikoku finally snapped.

Before her caretaker even realized what was happening Keikoku’s razor sharp nails had pierced his chest, puncturing both his lungs and severing the right atrium to his head in the process. At that point all the man could do was gurgle as the metallic liquid the female had come to crave filled his lungs; it only took seventy-three seconds for his lungs to malfunction and eighteen more for his heart to seize function. The young woman quickly found his soul to be far too tempting a treat as it lay in her bloodied claws so she consumed it as though it were nothing more than a delectable snack. However, this was only the beginning to her tale as a Dark Weapon.

The desire for blood and souls was not one that young Keikoku could withstand in her state of insanity for all she could think about was how delectable the feeling of flesh ripping beneath her blades was as she spilled their crimson life upon the cold ground. It was only as she stared at her beautifully shredded piece of art that was the corpse of her caretaker that she decided the best way to quell her desires was actually committing the act. Collecting ninety-nine human souls was a task which only took the female a short time to accomplish as she traversed the towns that lead to Death City and locating that pathetic excuse for a witch seemed almost too easy in her delusion ridden mind.

Finding the young woman today is not very hard; all you have to do is follow the trail of blood. With no one to tie her down and no rules to dictate her life Keikoku has become a merciless vixen who favors not one person over the other. To meet her is a nightmare. To fear her is wise. To befriend her is impossible. To love her is a curse.

⋆ Scythe

★ W E A P O N D E S C R I P T I O N:

⋆ Over the years Keikoku has spent many hours perfecting the transformation which allows her to alter her appearance from that of flesh to metal, thus transforming her into a weapon which many find to be extremely terrifying: a scythe. Composed entirely of a metal which resembles pure silver, the staff to this weapon is one which usually catches the attention of an opponent first with its intricately carven patterns, but their attention is soon drawn that of the serrated blade. With a razor edge capable of shredding through nearly any object, the top portion of this blade is divided into several edges which allow the wielder to attack both with both the point and back of the blade. Each of these blades is a different size of course, the smaller one sitting at the back of the staff while the longest consists of the main component of the scythe, but they do not adorn the same coloration as their staff. It is here where a crimson color begins to stain the top portion of the razors, thus adding to their foreboding nature and tying in the bright hues of Keikoku’s human form. If one looks close enough at the weapon, they may even seen the sadistic smirk of this young woman reflected in the top blade.
⋆ It was shortly after the consumption of the soul of a fox witch that Keikoku fully unlocked her second weapon form and while she does not necessarily favor it, it is this form which proves to be quite dangerous. In this second form Keikoku can meld her flesh into the same metal of her first appearance with one stark difference between the two: the addition of two smaller blades to the portions below the larger main one. Both of these additional blades, though razor sharp, hold no other design besides that of a straight edge.
⋆ In today’s society most creatures who possess the ability to transform their flesh choose to do so only when they are locked in combat because they feel no need to do so otherwise. Keikoku is one of the few who do not follow this unwritten guideline though for the simple fact that she feels so comfortable in her combatant form. However, taking on her completed weapon form would prove to be rather unproductive and so she chooses to transform her body in the only other way she knows how: through partial transformation. It is in this form that the nails on Keikoku’s right hand transform into razor-sharp blades that resemble those of her scythe, thus allowing her to slice through objects with ease. She is able to alter the size of these blades from that of a single inch to several.

★ T E C H N I Q U E S:

⋆. Noted for their cunning and sly characteristics, the fox witch that this female consumed was one who knew how to disguise herself amongst the shadows to both flee and sneak up on her enemies. It is this ability which Keikoku developed upon the consumption of it, though she is unable to completely vanish; if one looks close enough they can vaguely make out the glow of her crimson eyes in the dark.
⋆ The Burning of Blood is a technique of restraint which Keikoku often uses during her hunts for both its advantageous and versatile properties. Utilizing her body as a source for blood, this female manipulates the crimson liquid into a ribbon like structure which she can then send after her opponents for up to ten meters, thus trapping them in web and allowing her to rip them to shreds. In her partial form Keikoku must carve into the flesh of her arms to open the source for blood, a minor price to pay for the power which is supplies. In her full weapon form she can willingly create long ribbons which manifest themselves at crown of the staff and wrap around its intricate staff, but do not be fooled by the lack of harm which is visible in this case for the second Keikoku reverts back to her flesh form hundreds of wounds across her pale flesh become appear. This ability may last for up to three posts, but due to the fact that Keikoku is a hemophiliac she is left significantly weaker than before; she will not fully recover from the use of this technique during the battle.
⋆ The Obsidian Nightmare is an ability which Keikoku fully grasped after the consumption of the soul of a fox witch. It is this ability which allows the young female to create projections of her body within the shadows of an area, creating the illusion that she is in multiple places at once; with time she has even learned how to project her voice into these dark figments and manipulate them to mimic an action of her choice, thus adding to their credibility. It only takes a single blow to destroy these creatures. This ability may last up to five posts if left undisturbed, but it requires two posts to recover from every close created.
