She loves to read and discuss books with fellow bookworms, although this has made her rather bossy when it comes to using good grammar and she may come across as snobby to those who aren't as grammatically talented. As a child her mother floundered over Peyton which has caused her to be rather naive in the real world. When awkward or tricky situations pop up, the girl often has no clue as to what to say or do due to her mother usually handling those things for her. The girl's father had never been present in her life for he had left her mother due to her pregnancy as they were not married and he considered his unborn child a bastard. These details were never given to Peyton, and to this day she still has no clue of what happened to him. The girl's mother had been obsessive over her only child; driven by fear that the girl would leave her as her father had. Being a single mother, Peyton was never an overly-wealthy child, and often wore her mother's hand-me-downs, although it wasn't a bother for the girl. By the time she was old enough to go to school, the young meister saw just how mean children could be as jibes of her 'outdated' clothing met her on the first day. This, along with her love for stories and reading, brought a determination for her to do well in literature and writing, and the girl vowed her mother that she would one day publish a book and make them rich. Of course, these were the dreams of a young girl and soon faded after a year or so, although her natural talent and love for literature never faltered. Other children soon grew to respect the girl through the years of her childhood for her strong-will which founded her faded ambition to get rich as the jibs vanished. Of course it also helped that her mother had settled into a well-paid job too. At twelve years old, Peyton was to move from her home in Germany all the way to America for this job of her mother's, as a promotion was only to be earned in that branch of the business. Of course the news was hard for the girl to hear, as she had many friends that she would dearly miss leaving behind. Yet she was strong, and didn't put up much of a fuss during the process of moving. It was also around this time that her mother told of her meister blood, and explained to her about the DWMA and of how she would make many new friends there. This proposal had fuelled the young girl's excitement, and she felt as though the four more years of attending normal school were dragging by. Eventually though her time came, and at sixteen she moved to death city alone but with high hopes, promising her mother that she would stay safe and have fun in her new environment. She does not like to pry though, and will never go any farther than name, class and age unless needed to do so. It also goes for those far away from her, although it is the opposite.
